Business Development Manager
Due to an increase in work and further expansion plans we are looking for a Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Person with experience in injection moulding to join our enthusiastic team here in Banbury.
Immediate Start:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
This is a full-time on-site role in Banbury for a Business Development Manager / Technical Sales person. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to technical sales and general sales of injection moulded products and associated tooling.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential clients and decision-makers within the target market
Ability to understand and advise customers in regard to tooling and materials for injection moulding
Develop and implement strategies to drive business development initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients
Advise and monitor in house toolmaking and external toolmaking partners in regard to customer needs and tool design
Requirements:
Proven record in sales and technical sales of injection moulded products and tooling.
Knowledge of injection moulding processes and technologies
Experience in selling product into various industries including but not limited to engineering, fenestration/glazing, building, automotive, electronics, general.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to understand and explain technical information to clients
Ability to maintain records and progress monitor projects
Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-oriented approach
Experience in the injection moulding industry is a plus
Good face to face comunication skills
Willingness to attend trade shows and networking events
Knowledge of MS software tools
